Information for congregants and visitors with disabilities or special needs
We welcome everyone. God does not discriminate based on ability, and neither do we. If you need an accommodation so that you can more easily access our church and our programs, please let us know.
Special information for people with hearing impairments: For deaf worshippers, St. Christopher’s has a sign-language interpreter twice a month for Sunday services, usually the second and fourth Sundays of the month. However, this schedule is subject to change. If you are planning to attend a worship service and need a sign language interpreter, please let us know in advance so we can prepare for your visit.
If you are hard of hearing, we can offer you an FM listening device to use during worship services, which will make it easier to hear. Please let an usher know if you would like to use this device. You are also welcome to sit near the front of the church if this makes it easier for you to hear and participate in our worship services.
Special information for people with vision impairments: If you need large-print materials during the worship service, please let an usher know.
Special information for people with mobility impairments: The church, parish hall, and restrooms are handicap-accessible. If you need assistance to access any area of the church, please let an usher know and we will work with you to access the church and our programs.
